WHAT IS CATHOLIC UNDERSTANDING OF MARRIAGE
It is always a joy to celebrate sacrament of marriage. The Sacrament of Marriage lies at the heart of Catholic family life because the love between the husband and the wife is a reflection of the love that Jesus has for His Church which is a sacrificial love. However it is more than a reflection of that love that Christ has for His Church. As husbands and wives live out sacrament of marriage, they make present that love of Jesus in their family.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
